Deadeye Dick – New Age Girl Lyrics 12 years ago
She doesn't like giving head? I thought that that was what the whole "bone" thing was about (yeah, I know, she don't eat meat, but I took THAT part to be literal). As for liking sex, isn't that the song alludes to be saying she rides a "wooden car" to get her to where she's going?

Rebecca Black – Friday Lyrics 14 years ago
Was this a song that was supposed to be released or just something expensive her parents did for her (like "happy birthday sweetheart - this year, we're letting you play rock star").

Because if this was seriously an attempt to release music, it means that the industry is now officially blind, tone-deaf and dumb as sh!t. All those people the RIAA sued for music downloading should get their money back with interest. If this is what the music business thinks music should sound like then it's not fair to blame Kazaa & Limewire for the utter ruin that they now face.

Rebecca Black – Friday Lyrics 14 years ago
I thought it was stream of conciousness thing - like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas" when he's talking about that one day that he finally gets pinched. Everything from putting the sauce on the stove to getting guns from one of his connections. So we think she's just wondering about where to sit, but she's really wondering whether she's going to rat on the friends in the front seat or snitch on those losers in the back seat.

Obviously she was on ketamine when she got out of bed - that's why she was able to stand still while the rest of the world went flying by.

The Go! Team – The Power Is On Lyrics 14 years ago
I could never make out the lyrics on any their songs, but I kind of love them. First picked up them in '07 when I heard Universal Speech streaming on KSCU. I had never heard them before and had no idea who they were. I didn't even catch their name or the song name. It wasn't until I saw "Whip It!" about 2 years later that I discovered who they were...when I heard this song.

The Horrorist – One Night In NYC Lyrics 14 years ago
I remember 1st hearing this song on the radio back in the early 2000's, back when broadcast radio in the NYC area embraced something more than teen pop, adult contemporary, hip hop and spanish radio - back wehn it was possible to hear a song for the first time and not know in the first few seconds what kind of song it would be. This wasn't a great song, I'm not even sure it's even a very good song, but grabs you at that surprise/horror ending. "Wiat - what did I just drink!??". I actually went to NYU (class of 93) - I was at the other 3rd ave dorm (13th street). One thing I never quite got - he slips her X and then spend the rest of the night...well, we know what he did. Is that what X is for? he song makes it sound like a date-rape drug.
