Probably my favourite Less Than Jake song of all time. In my eyes LTJ's lyrics have always been the strongest part of their music. I really don't think they get enough credit especially with songs such as "Faction, Al's War, Scott Farcas Takes It On The Chin, Escape From The A-Bomb House, Last Hour Of The Last Day Of Work, and The Rest Of My Life". the part where it says "Sometimes you just want to belong" is what gets me the whole song in my opinion is just about wanting to fit in and be accepted, being kinda depressed and just looking for things to go good in your life. a song I completely relate too. |

This song describes me perfectly right now. Like with previous comments its about an ex you are still just madly in love with and just cant let go. The pinnacle lyrics in this song are in the chorus "Well here's to living in the moment cause it passed" for me that is what the essence of the song is. And I know for me personally are the ones that I can most relate too. This is a beautiful song from Jim and the guys, a definite highlight on "Chase This Light". Everyone can relate to this at some point in their lives. I can right now. I miss you Megan... |
