When he says "This life is a perfect fit" he's saying that being lost in the music is an overwhelmingly powerful feeling and he loves everything aabout it. |

This song is all about apologizing to the one you lost about the break up, and the way you acted. And now you can't go through a normal day without thinking about your ex, "everything, everything's about you". Very powerful song, the entire album is moving. Every song name, even the album name "What separates me from you" is deep. ADTR is paving the way to being an extremely popular and well-known band, not by selling out and writing generic music, but by pushing the boundaries and limits of their talent and experiences. They're literally pouring their hearts into their music and that's rare to see. |

He wishes that things didn't happen the way they did, and asks if they could start over, would anything change? He is vividly telling the listener that abuse is real, and instead of ignoring it, one should talk about it and try to bring peace to all who were involved. It's a very powerful song, and can not go unnoticed. |

This song (to me) is all about fighting for the one you love, and being everything that the one you love needs. But also, telling the one you love that you have faith in the relationship, and you can not wait to get back home and hold he/she close, and telling them how much they mean to you.

This song is basically slapping you in the face saying you need to see what horrible people we have become, where we shun others who are different from us, instead of treating them like a normal human being. And the "nothing left" part of this song is saying that there is hardly any faith left in god and people believe they are alone and fragile in this world. And because they see others who do still have faith in god they portray them as monsters that should be executed or banished. And because we are at that point where we judge on every aspect of a human that is different from us, we have become angry and hateful beings. We've become to grow more corrupt and more hateful. And only those who still believe in god do not grow corrupt, but learn to rise above the hate and become peaceful. |

This song is a very deep and moving song, the whole song is about how greedy and slow to help we are as human beings. There is still suffering and sadness in places not so far from our homes, yet we do nothing to help. He consistently asks if what we're doing now really is the best that we can do to help, because he knows that everyone could do more to help, but are unwilling to because we want some form of reward in a monetary or materialistic form. I truly believe that we all can do something to help out others. Even the little things can help. |

First, let me just say the TWA is sick. I saw them live with Underoath, A Day To Remember, and Close Your Eyes.
Next, This song is obviously (well, obvious to me anyways) that this song is about being betrayed by someone you care about and/or love. "I thought i knew you now you can't save your name(we won't follow the deciever) Don't try to silence my words with your lies (we won't follow the deciever). This is what i expected, another life lesson is what i'm left with, Look at what you've started, a war of words is what we'll part with." basically pushes the point that he now sees that he/she is a horrible person, and now his image of him/her will never change. And now he tells everyone about him/her and he/she tries to cover their tracks to make them look innocent. And after all he/she put him through, he will take this as a learning experience. And all he/she has started is a huge verbal fight between eachother. And the (We won't follow the deciever) is him saying i will never end up like you. It's a powerful song once you understand the full meaning behind the lyrics. |

This song does seem more like a parent-child abuse type thing. the parent wouldnt take it out unless they were older. the lines "This fre burns inside, theres no where left to hide, this rage can't be denied..." seems like the child finally has enough and decides to fight back. |

I think he is speaking to a really close friend or family member. when he needed them most they weren't there and left him to solve all of the problems that he faces with no help or relief. and that person trys to come back to him and he won't stand for it and shows how he feels and expresses his anger and disappointment in that person.
Kick ass song just for the record. One of my favorites. |

To me this song is all about the fear and knowledge that youre being watched and how bad the paranoia is. "Dont blink they wont even miss you at all, and dont think that ill always be gone, you know i got you like a puppet in the palm of my hand, dont you let me down."
Basically: I can make you "disappear" and no one would even notice what happened. Basically i have you exactly where i want you. So play by my rules or else."
It seems like all of the song (except the breakdown) is being worded towards someone and the breakdown is to show the paranoia they feel.
Great song. Very fun to play on guitar as well. |

To me Jeremy is trying to say that: everything is different from what it used to be. My friends are now enemies and my world is starting to fall apart. My family is falling apart and so is my idea of how my life was. I put my trust in the wrong hands and now the effects are starting to show. Its hard to trust people now and everything i loved and cherished is "slipping away."
The whole album is amazing and this is one of my personal favorites. It speaks clearly of how life is now-a-days as well.
Also, i think this song has a tie in to 2nd Sucks off of their newest album. "I laid my life on the line so i expect nothing less from you" = "I have the greatest faith in fools, i turn my back and out came the wolves" ? Idk. Maybe im crazy but it seems to connect pretty well. |
