This song was written for Alice in Wonderland but didn't make it into the movie. if you go on iTunes and type in painting flowers it's on the "Almost Alice" CD, which is full of songs that didn't quite make the cut. NeverShoutNever has a song on there as well.
This is clearly about Alice in Wonderland because in the original movie there were cards "Painting Flowers" for the Red Queen. Alice also hears voices over her shoulder when she enters wonderland and in the newer movie she has to go through a maze. The song also says "I don't wanna lose my head," which directly refers to the Red Queen shouting "Off with his/her head." |

This song kinda reminds me of Dare4Distance...like when he says he's sorry for all the nights he did to let this person down in the beginning, its kinda like saying he's sorry for not seeing this person like in Dare4Distance |

This Song IS So Beautiful.
I think this song is about someone losing the love of their life and still living in the memories of them. You should live in the good memories but to me it sounds like this person is living in the bad memories and just making him or her self even more depressed.
It's hard to lose the love of your life, especially if it's your first love. Losing someone that special takes a toll on you, but you should always remember the good times you shared with that person and the happiness they made you feel. |

I agree with xoailujxo, but i also think this song says how the lead singer was in love and he thought he'd found the girl of his dreams but then they graduated and never saw each other again which crushed him and killed his dreams. |

This song is saying that you should realize how young you really are and you should cherish every moment that you are young. It sounds to me like Jordan didn't get to cherish his teenage years as much as other do and he just wants to relive the moments he cherished. |

I think this song is about him losing his virginity to a "Pretty Little Girl" and regretting it because it wasn't true love and it was only really for one night. That's just my thought but i could be wrong. |
