this song was about the actual writers (David Dunihoo) adoulecent. his step dad was a total douche, people were always judging him, and he is still to this day a heavy smoker. Alice in Chains stole it from him. |

Actually, they stole it from a former member. They only used it as an underground song so they wouldn't need to credit him. I know him, his girlfriend at the time told me about it. She siad they had the lyrics on thier closet walls for years before Alice In Chains preformed it. His name is David Dunnihoo. |
