Rebecca Black – Friday Lyrics 14 years ago
I think the entertainment industry and the idiots that buy their crap are to blame for this. Every great writer looks back at their first songs with a combination of horror and wonder of what the hell was going through their minds when they wrote them. But the modern entertainment industry is using the new, underdeveloped, and desperate for becoming famous artists, to make fools out of themselves to amuse people, so they can make a lot of money, while preventing them from actually becoming good.

I think it's about the rejection and acceptance of the Christian version of the Afterlife.

Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics 15 years ago
My interpretation is "buying a stairway to heaven" refers to religion, while the song constantly refers to two paths. Sometimes words have two meanings is an interesting part, as we all know the song played backwards talks about satan, now whether this was intentional or not, who knows? but if it wasn't who cares? and if it was, they're fucking geniuses! I really don't care about people's beliefs. And I'll just say the piper refers to the story of the piper of hamelin.
