Eminem – 25 To Life Lyrics 14 years ago
I thought it was about Kim at first, and then like everyone else, I thought it was about Hip-hop. However, I heard from some people that it is about the Illuminati, and how the Illuminati made him famous and made him create lyrics with certain types of messages in it before, explaining his homophobic references in past songs. However, in the recovery album, he is "breaking away" from the Illuminati, which is expressed in this song a lot and Not Afraid.
For instance he says "maybe if this bitch had acted right i wouldve stayed." This could mean the Rap industry since he left for a little while, but he is still in the Rap game so I dont think that makes sense. Also, "Fuck you Hip-Hop, I'm divorcing you..." He obviously isn't leaving Hip-Hop because he is still making songs, so does he really mean he is leaving the Illuminati? "evil as they come vindictive as they make em"
I'm not sure if I believe this; its just interesting. What does everyone think?

T.I. – That's All She Wrote Lyrics 14 years ago
Em is trying to explain that he remember where he's from. It's sort of commonly thought of to be urban or 'lower class' dialect to pronounce K-mart as "K-mart's," like "I am going to K-mart's." Also, he is just saying that he still goes to McDonalds and A & W even though he's rich now.
The beginning of the verse isn't about women. When he refers to "hoes," he's talking about the rest of the rap industry. He explains that in the first few words. "I guess life's a bitch aint it TIP." Em created the metaphor for life as a "Bitch," which holds for the rest of his verse. When he says "I'm givin these hoes a dose of their own medicine," he's talking about how he is rapping better than other rappers. Then when he talks about K-mart and A&W, he's bragging that he hasn't sold out, he's still straight up Detroit, but he's good enough to be popular.
