Mr Pharoah.....you have certainly shed some light on my situation. This song is clearly as you have put it so let me tell you what i got out of that "I seek to cure whats deep inside..frightened of this thing that ive become." He is leaving his country to pursue his lifes dream...when you pursue a dream..its like this....if you are passionate ...nothing else will fulfill that need....you have to try to cure it or it will eat you alive "Frightened of this thing that I've become" This is the fear that now that he has taken the necessary steps to leave his country...he has committed himself to something that could turn tragic even though all the signs tell him that it will be alright.....he has now become what it is that will carry him the rest of the journey.
