| Radical Face – The Crooked Kind Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
The title is a reference to a line from Always Gold off of The Roots album. "And they said you were the crooked kind, that you'd never have no worth, but you were always gold to me." |

| Foo Fighters – Wheels Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
Has nobody mentioned that there are some tiny references to other Foo Fighters material in this song? "looked into the sky" is reminiscent of "looking to the sky" (Learn to Fly). "Here's another round for you" is a reference to Another Round from In Your Honor (Disc 2). "Looking for a reason, man, something to lose" refers to the album, There Is Nothing Left To Lose. "Broken hearts will mend" could possibly refer to On the Mend, also from the second half of In Your Honor. I am sure there are other references in this song that I didn't pick up on, but this could possibly be foreshadowing the end of the Foo Fighters (going along with the theme of "Finally done with something, relief, etc.). |

| Gorillaz – Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Anyone think this song could possibly refer to the Gorillaz and their arrival in the music industry? If you think about the Happyfolk as being regular people (happy with the music they listen to), the Monkey as the industry itself (stable), and the Strangefolk as the Gorillaz, who arrive and shake the entire music scene with their weirdness. | |
