I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the similarity with Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B. I came across that song kind of randomly and notice how close it sounded. Also watching the music video for candy many it really looks like it is suppose to be a stylistic tribute to the Andres Sisters. There are three of Christina dancing and singing in military dress with soldiers all around her and people playing brass. I definitely think there is a connection. |

I like how many times the quote from Marx has been brought up and that the title fits it exactly and the lyrics all back up that interpretation. Still there are a good number of people who post they don't think it's about religion.
As for this whole debate about the atheism and such, what is the problem with atheist having songs? Christians have a lot of songs and a good number of them attack atheists or more commonly other religions. So, what's the problem here? If you don't like it don't listen. |

I agree that this is about Kursk, the near the beginning "Tanks line up in thousands as far the eye can see" makes sense with this because it was the largest tank battle ever. |

I think this may be specifically about Palestinian suicide bombers.
The live "Kill your own, a response of your actions," seems to be about the Israeli response to the bombings.
And the line "Trapped in a cage of stone, we'll destroy your home
Consequence of your action," seems to be about how Israel has build walls all around Gaza and the Israelis did specifically destroy the homes of the families of suicide bombers. |
