I wake in he middle of the night with the beat in my head boom ba boom boom. I felt from watching the videoclip it could mean the expectations of one's childhood/society ie. happily married with children does not become everyone's destiny. I love the way Kimbra is dressed she looks like a doll. When the dolls are burning the girls dancing they are so innocent and I wonder what women would have thought of this imagery a few decades ago. I dont think Kimbra is bitter she is just a powerful woman finding her own way in the world. |
