Allow a response in kind: Because your imagination is so limited as to cripple your ability to apprehend anything that cannot be measured in a laboratory, you have unsurprisingly missed the genius of this song. You probably miss anything not directly in front of your face. This song is about you and people like you. You have enduring faith in your own unprovable "reality," yet refuse to accept that your POV is from the same boat as the rest of us "ignoramuses"; that you are sullied with faith at all. Superior?
