| I believe, in my most personal interpretation that the song is talking about people like me and you who spend most of our lives pursuing a career in order to one day hopefully establish and have enough money and live a decent life (almost impossible now a days) and in the way we forget about the nature of humanity in which we meet someone we get married and we have children...I have takes a sociology class, and statistics show that the average number of total children americans are having is decreasing and will keep decreasing... we keep ourselves too busy trying to become impossible millionaires, yet we eventually end up with nothing...idk sort of like that...hard to explain with words... something I'm not very good at... that's why i prefer poetry... ;) | |
