My interpretation of the song is that he's searching for someone to give him faith in love, but he's fallen for the wrong girl and she wants to leave him/has left him but he feels lost without her even though staying together might hurt him more. Probably not the intended meaning, but it's how I've always heard it. Beautiful song, though. |
