It's simply a big "Fuck you!" To a fake girlfriend that tricked him to believing she was something that she isn't. I actually happen to be going through this and this song makes it all better haha. |

I think it's about getting played. Jeremy obviously loves the girl to death, but he can tell she's liking some other guy behind his back. He doesn't want to offend her by asking about him, but he knows it's going to be the downfall of something that had potential to be beautiful. I'm stuck in this same situation too I think :( |

I think it's kind of about being used as a shoulder to cry on, then when she's over it, she's a fake bitch you didn't know before haha. Hence, "You brought your worst and I'm right here, Now I've seen it all, and its never been so clear. You're not the person that I knew back then" Same situation happened to me. When she was in pieces, I was always there to put her back on her feet, even if it meant canceling plans, like the song says. And then when she found out she could stay on her own two feet, I got left in the dust. |

I'd have to say it's a final "Fuck you, we're over" to an ex girlfriend that completely messed up the relationship, but keeps trying to put the blame on him. He's pointing out the flaws she had in the relationship and saying that he found a new girlfriend that is a million times the girl that she could ever be. |

This song reminds me of my friend so much that just left on his mission for our church. We live in a hell hole of a town in AZ, and we got judged left and right, because we weren't your typical kids you'd find in this place. We would drive around aimlessly for hours listening to ADTR ad UnderOATH, and we spoke what we meant (unlike the majority of people here) we would call out fakes, and that upset people here haha. And my friend that left was basically the head of our group. And since he left, things have changed a lot. The first verse and chorus hits home with me, because we're the only people that have faith in each other around here. Everyone else thinks we are insane, but we DGAF. And we're dying for him to come back home. No joke, if ADTR came from here, we would have been the kids they hungout with haha. |
