I think this song is about wanting to fall in love with someone, but not wanting to reach a point where the issue that will drive the two of you apart is found. It's about not being scared to fall, because it is actually the best feeling, it is that time when everything is perfect. But its all spoiled "when [you] hit the ground", a metaphor for finding that issue that drives you apart. |
