as well with the lyric "so if you love me let me go, and run away before i know" i think has to do with moving on. Just drawing from personal experience, its like yeah i'm over you but if you wer to say i still love you it would put me back into so much pain and confusion so instead of trying to work it out figure shit out its just easier and less painful to just say fuck it leave me alone |

I totally fell in love with this song from the first time i heard it, but since i've just gone through some major relationship shit i can relate. Its like he's giving up cuz it feels like she's giving up, so he wants to hate her to make it easier (I only wish you wern't my friend, so i could hate you in the end) I know exactly what that feels like and it dosn't really work |
