This song is absolutely amazing. I love the way his voice sounds when he sings english. The meaning is pretty obvious; The guy is falling out of love with his girlfriend because she isn't around or they're fighting constantly etc. and she will always be his desert rose ( a rare and special thing to him ) |

I think this song is about the girl he loves dying in his arms.
