My interpretation is different. I lost someone due to a drug overdose. The slang term for the drug is "girl" so when C.A. speaks of "her", I think of the drug. This song I've listened to every day since he died. I wish I could say to C.A. how much this particular song described my exact thoughts. Don't do drugs. They kill you. Please, people-take it from a stranger. I lost my best friend for that "lust" he chose. I love C. A. 's voice. Thank you for singing this song. |
