I agree, this song is absolutely beautilful. I think it's a great analogy between stars and relationships. When a star is diying the blown-off outer layers include elements which may be recycled during new star formation. In some ponit we all feel a kind of disenchantment of the world and we put all our hopes in someone else, in what we think love can do for us. So, when we start a relationship we die a little to create something that we thought could be beautiful. |

I love this song. It's kind of a prophetic song to me. I was about to meet somebody whom I used to date and it had been a long time without seeing eachother. I was so nervous I didn't have any idea about what would happen between us and I thought maybe a song will tell me. So I turned on my ipod, put it in shuffle mode and there was this song. Gosh! kind of funny because almost everything came true. I had to leave him next morning because of my work, we argued and I couldn't say goodbye to him because my flight was too early. So I hope to come back and see him wake up. |

Hi, Such a great song!!! I'm not the most expert fan of KC, but I like it a lot. So, I may be wrong but I think the song, as well as the whole album - homonym -, is based on there being "three sides to every story", representing "He, She, and They". I love this song because a friend of mine is a really big fan of KC and once we were listening to it and he said: "that's always been our trouble in our relationship". Meaning that both of us are always in love with each other but at the same time with ourselves. So, as always, it can be as much meaning as listeners. Regrads. |
