| My idea is that within these sort of trivial decisions we face everyday lies a sort of despair and ennui that we have to suffer through and the lamentation of the high cheerful expressions that the world wants us to put on. As someone who suffers with depression off and on I can definitely relate to the tone of this song deeply. These simple yet direct lyrics are part of the many reasons why Pinback is my favorite band. | |
