Can I agree with your disagree? Everything you said is so true. Plus, even if Buffy seems 'Whiny' she has every right to be. She got pulled out of HEAVEN for Christ's sake! Literally, she got pulled out of the happiest place she could be where she was finally free of all responsibilities, and is put back in the loop of her shit-job of always being in danger and never being off duty. I know the is relatable on many levels with its supernatural metaphors, but her situation just isn't. It's beyond our full comprehension of how hard it must be. |

I personally think this is less about physical love and more about self love, with "You" being the listeners. Ke$ha rehearses her own glitter act and because of this she's lost herself in the road to stardom. Her fame has killed her and this song is about how she feel so hurt because she has sacrificed herself in order to get money. She plays this talentless wasteland of a human but this song shows that she hates all she stands for. |

Wow, I can't believe that 8 years later people are still commenting on here... it really is an amazing song!
I think this song is about death. "I'm still falling" seems to be her slipping into death. To me, "Broken into two" seems to be referring to the body and the spirit, now separated. "I could possibly be fading or have something more to gain" could be talking about how she could just be dying, or there is an afterlife ahead of her. As for "It was you, breathless and tall," I kind of get the feeling that "you" may be god, or death himself- this could connect back to "I could feel myself underneath your fate," like saying it's her time to go by this higher power's will. |

This song is pretty easy to understand. The singer is addressing their grade-school crush, telling them that if he had the chance to go back and change things, he would tell him/her how he felt about them instead of regretting not doing so in the following years. At least, that's what I get from this. |
