From the liner notes to Pandora's Box - "Me still insisting I can sing" - Joe Perry I'm glad he did a solo project and this little gem surfaced. It's a sort of window as to who is (semi)responsible for what sounds within the band. Another groovy soulful number that has a permanent place on my list of adrenaline inducing tunes. Thanks Joe. |

Kinda obvious what this song is about. I'm not sure that this was intended to be anything but album filler... but it just goes to show how talented these guys are - this is a great bluesy, funky, rock-n-roll song. This song (IMHO) is one of a few that give a good glimpse of what the band is about just by listening to it. |

Another SEVERLY underrated and underplayed song... actually the whole album is. Another song where I think if you try to read too deeply into it you're going beyond what the band intended. |

I hope you are who you appear to be. This song (actually this entire album and "Rocks") was a big part of my life growing up, and still is. I only hope that you guys one day find a trove of other songs from this time period that never made it to the album (or as Joe Perry said in an interview "ones that aren't going to grow up") or dig deep and come up with a retro album and get someof that old school grit back. I hope to pass on the memories and emotions your music has created for me to my kids.. who awesomely enough love your music too (at 5, 7 and 9!!!). |

Uhhh... yeah. It's a song about a dream. Someone recalling a fantasy dream from when he was a kid. Gavin Pole... that's just wrong... hafta go back and listen to the song again, but "Gavin Pole".. wow... some of these lyrics are readily available from the band themselves, why guess, lol. LOL... Aerosmith lyrics really aren't THAT deep. |
