I agree with MorningStar, watch the music video. It's some sort of corperate race going on. Who "she" is? I don't know is it like a Jim and Pam thing from The Office where he loved her there and all that? But then he left her to get the big job, probably failed now he is regretting it and doesn't know what to do. |

Well, every time I listen to this song I always think that the one he loves just said she wants to be friends. Ok that's obvious. And then he equates (is that correct? equates) friend to something horrible to say. I'm sure know we all know many four letter words that are horrible to say. But none of them would specifically fit and make sense at the same time. So, maybe it's just four letter words in general. |

I just heard this song from the new Rock Band 3. It's awesome and a great song overall. As to the meaning pkjun's interpretation seems the most logical to me. This shows the difference between music from back in the day and now, songs like this actually have a meaning. Making them five times as better than any song today that is about violence or some sexually related thing. The music video for this song was a little bit uncomfortable to watch... |
