I thought of the Twin Towers as soon as i heard this song... i went back to the part that says "Tell me would you kill to save a life. tell me would you kill to prove you're right" and remembered a discussion i had in on of my social studies classes... my teacher was asking us the exact same question: "Would you kill to save a life?" and once we were talking about 9/11 and he was saying how it was wrong what they did... "would you kill to prove your right?" is pretty much talking about how they totally disagreed with our religion and they thought we were totally wrong. they though they had to do this to prove they're right... |

I don't think the song is about a relationship, because in the video "The making of The Kill" Jared Leto himself said " Many people would think this song has to do with a relationship but it's actually about confronting yourself." It's sort of obvious, because in the video he is actually confronting himself. |
