The song is called "Stay Together for the Kids"...so it's not a song about divorce. It's a song told from the child's point of view of parents who stay together for the kids thinking they're doing the right thing on behalf of the children, when in reality there's no hiding the unhappiness that comes with two people who can't stand each other yet stay together...it drags on and on because divorce doesn't happen, nobody can move on and everyone ends up miserable for a very long drawn out period of time. Their anger hurts my ears been running strong for seven years rather than fix the problems they never solve them it makes no sense at all |
