Yeah, but he says that about all his songs, because he thinks that its up to the listener to grasp what he wants to say.. So thats why he says like that.. It is about life being told what to do through your youth, every one wants a piece of of us.. |

Dont worry, about the jail, rather know which motherfuckers are going to hell... But guess he's sitting in a bar and that he's not the only one.. |

Here is my interpretation... "That taste, All I ever needed, All I ever wanted, Too dumb to surrender" I interpret this as him being heartbroken, angry at him self that his former relationship didn't work out and maybe he think that its his fault, because he is doing drugs.. Thats why he's too dumb to surrender.. "She shakes Like the morning railway Checking me out With someone on her shoulder" Here i interpret it as if its a Whore flirting with him but what she's got on the shoulder is the Devil, cause she's got a hidden agenda and he's a christian So the devil has got a grip on her, while trying to temp him.. "The lamp, Flickers in the bedroom She must feel as awkward Whore-house Arizona" Well they are having sex, but she must feel as awkward because she is sharing something really personal with him for money.. And then maybe that she had many customers. The flickering lamp, could also be a parallel to him being drugged up and maybe he's flickering between being there, and being drugged.. "And I go, Stand up to a giant Say that I'm a fighter Too drunk to remember Too drunk to ..." I think this is mentally when he stands up to the giant, its the giant within.. He tell him selv that he's gonna get over the breakup, that he is a fighter! As confronted earlier "All i ever needed, too dumb to surrender" "My face Is laying on the pavement Tasting something awful I hate when that happens" He realized that he F...'ed up and he feels bad about sleeping with a whore.. Tasting something awful, the taste of guild.. He hates when he betrays him self and what he believes in.. "And she waves, Thinking that it's sexy, She must be plum crazy, I kind of think I like her, Kind of think I do ... He kinda likes the person behind the whore, she's crazy for hoping for more, although he likes her, she must be crazy to try to get personal with him... |

I dont agree all the way.. Yeah, nice info! Oh guess that this place is beautiful.. The song is also about doing drugs, and about being stuck in something you dont really know how to get out of.. Think the weeds that blow tall on the broken aka RAIL ROAD, is about a state of mind.. You know as a train representing the timeline of life and as the tall weeds blow, he symbolises that he haven't done anything in his life for a long time, he'll be getting out as soon as he can fly.. Drugs are his escape from that town.. Ruth B. is trying to get clean, but he dont want her too, cause he enjoys her company and he dont wanna be left behind.. Talihina sky is his euforia, and she must be so crazy to say goodbye.. She is trying to get clean by using cocaine instead of heroin.. "Ruth B. draws we are fixing to get high" So its about his fear of being left in that hole fo drugs... |
