This song has taken on a completely different meaning to me in the last week. I've known it for years and years and had a more vague, general sense of what it meant but this week, its kind of become a theme song of mine. I'm 20, a college grad, and looking at starting life. I'm feeling God's calling on my life to do ministry overseas for a time ("Got a funny feeling that I'm gonna go away....got a ways to go from here and vision doesn't seem so clear but praise God. He's got a plan. Understanding isn't my place.") Life looks pretty frightening because I'm probably gonna be leaving every comfort I've ever known and left to rely entirely upon God (I'm gonna overcome these fears, still I'm gonna need Your hands of grace.") |
