The general fact that none of you know the meaning behind this song is riviting This song yes is about love but the symbols in it should tell you Emily has committed suicide and he is wanting to be with her he wont kill himself because its not his time everything he says about her is a memory this is not a love song this is a suicde this is how he lost his girl friend this is how he remembers her and when he gets where hes going then hell see her and he hopes its worth the waiting Symbols- thunderstorms (a block in which keeps you in depression) december (the start and end of something) winter (death) metaphors- the winter coldens me for i have yet to sleep (its not his time hes trapped living while dead) shes simple yet cunfusing (how she is easy to understand but her ways are complicated who she is as a being is complex) so this song may represent another emily in the happiness but no one truly know the meaning until you break i tdown now think about that |
