| You guys are all very close about the "Desert and into the sun" lyric. What it means is this: the desert is a place where little grows. Its dry expanses yield no comfort or life. Nate is saying his life is stuck in a place were no growth is taking place, and that he needs to move into "the sun." Everyone knows that the sun makes things grow. Vegetables in the summer, to flowers in the spring. So overall this lyric is a statement of his need for a rebirth in his life. I hope that puts some questions to rest. | |
