Everybody's interpreting this on a way too basic level. The line "How could you say they live they life wrong When you never fuck with the lights on" is saying you don't know a person until you walked in their shoes. How can you say being a pornstar is wrong if you've never tried it? If you've never fucked with the lights (cameras etc.) how do you know its so demoralizing and terrible. |

Uh though this was self explanatory but I guess not. It's a story about how he gets involved with this girl who tells him she's 22 but she's really 17. The line "Told me she was twenty-two she was only seventeen" states this pretty clearly. When she turns 18 and is finally legal he sings "What is it we wanna do now that I'm allowed to be alone with you?" It is no longer illegal for him to sleep with her and this coming of age is reinforced by the line "Wherever you wanna go now you are old enough to go and see the R-rated show now" This once again shows she's 18 as she's now able to go to R rated films |

| Jeff Buckley – Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Kez is kind of right. This was written as a very sexual song as it's about the story of Bathsheba and David. The 2nd and 4th verses are obviously about sex. Having said that there is more to the song then just that. Also GibsonSheep the original was originally very sexual. | |
