The song is about a relationship that is based on sexual curiosity and intensity. The two are connected only on a sexual leval and can only grow (hence the word and title Go!) sexually. They move forward sexually by adding onto thier sex life--they have a threesome. Thier relationship is just sex and I don't think that Common is saying that this is good. If you look at his past songs ("The Light") he obviously has a deep understanding about a close personal relationship that isn't only based on physical pleasure. The man is obviously living his fantacy through the sex he has with this woman, and will not last. I think that the most important word of this song is Go (that seems supid but it means a lot of thins.) The couple 'Goes'--or progresses--through eachother only by means of sex; they can't settle down and gain perspective or understanding of the true nature of thier relationship...
