I wonder if it is about The Crusades? Or religious wars in general... Some examples: "Or would you like to remind me why we're here" "We were led to believe that the language of love was god So few were forgiven" "I fought with many and I won for some" - the "some" being the leaders who started the war for their own personal reasons (not always shared by the soldiers) |
