Ok, I haven't heard this song for a while until tonight and it feels like Noel wrote it for me for how to get over my ex that split up with me 2 months ago. Theres so many lyrics that apply: 'Nobody ever mentions the weather can make or break your day' - this reminds me of a couple of nights before she broke up with me, she wouldn't speak to me about anything sensible so she started speaking to me about the weather. And if someone starts to talk about the weather then there not going to make or break your day. 'We live in the shadows and we had the chance and threw it away, And it's never gonna be the same' - speaks for itself and it wouldn't work if we ever got back together. 'There ain't no sense in feeling lonely' - telling me to pick myself up and stop mopeing around. 'Til the life I knew comes to my house and says, Hello' - this is the point i'm at after listening to this song again. Basically going back to my life again and saying hello to what I left behind when I got with her. 'But I've got a feeling you still owe me, So wipe the shit from your shoes' - she still owes me money. 'Hello, Hello, Hello....' - the future, looking forward to the future. This is how I see it anyway and I hope its the turning point! :) |
