| I kind of have the feeling that Molly, or Jenny is in fact guy's drunk state of mind, thus the title. Makes some sense when you read the rest of the lyrics that way. | |

| Nah, I get the rnr logic but that "worthwile" part still just sounds like god. I just can't tell for sure if it's sarcasm. | |
| Tears for Fears – Suffer The Children Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I could swear I already left a comment here. The title says about the song and I believe it is a call to have a child. Suffer the children or - do suffer the children. It's suffering but it's worth it. If you read words again, but with this in mind, no neglect detected :) | |

Well, to explain better - aircrash is his life. He is not happy with his life, but that's who he is and what he does. When Sarah (this is a big ?) comes in she kills what he used to be with love and he doesn't want to continue with (successful... the head of state) life, whether it is career for example... or something else... obligation that he doesn't want at all, lifestyle he don't like... even though he's good at it. It's gonna be a glorious day - just a day, relaxed, with love and no life challenges etc. That's all he wants. Hope this makes sense. |

I think it's about neglecting obligations (life) when you're in love. Losing identity. |

Well, let's start: :) There were options among lyrics "as your bladder disappears" Which makes more sense and sounds like it No longer wound up like a spring Should probably be No longer wind up like a string (although I hear "p" there, but makes no sense) Than "words are blunt instruments" also has an alternative in "what's the point of instruments" (which may refer to many... instruments :) ), not sure which one is true... And the last part I hear "you gotta run, you can feel it on your back" |

| Coldplay – What If Lyrics | 15 years ago |

It sounds like ode to bravery. Or mental state that's pushing us to make big decisions. I understood it like attempt to finally let someone go, when your mind is aware of the fact that it has to be done, though the heart hurts incredibly. So we "take a breath and jump over the side". So, even though we don't want to believe in the "what if" question, the mind keeps asking. If you were in a position to be the one that has to make a move, and the other side (whether it's a lover or a friend) is the one that has to go :( or that wants it but don't want to make you suffer and later feel guilty about that, you'll understand this song the same way. So, what if the time has come to let someone go? "What if I got it wrong And no poem or song Could put right what I got wrong Or make you feel I belong" So, no matter how hard I try, what if there is no way for making you stay? And "what I got wrong" is actually the way he understood things, it should not be understood as "what I did wrong". "What if I got it wrong" is a thing that you'd ask yourself if you were in a state of confusion for too long, that's the first thing you would ask yourself. Whether you are ready to accept it or not. When you love somebody and you feel it's wrong, you tend to feel sorry particularly because of that idea that IT COULD WORK; and, what if you got it wrong..... |
