This song talks about the hatred and pain everyone feels inside. Anout how many people go to extreme decisions thinking they are doig the right thing when in the end, all we can do is go to ask God for help and he does not answer when they cry. Its about a man talking to his soul and he looks around the world and sees how everything is falling apart around him and he cries and blames God and searches for an answer but cannot find a reason to live. He cannot find a reason for war and for killing and all of the events that have been occurring these days. I think he (Jared) is giving different point of views of people. 9-11 could definitely have its part played here. I honestly do not think a relationship has anything to do with this song as in gf and bf but maybe as a home who is torn apart, people who are searching for love. "The love we had, we had to let it go" people cannot keep holding on to love when it does not solve the queston deep inside or in a soldier's point of view, maybe they had to let go of their love they felt toward life since now they have killed. Idk it really covers a lot of areas and a lot of different perspectives and anyone can interpret this song as their own story. I am not saying my interpretation is a statement, I respect all of the other interpretations. This song, like all of 30 sec to mars songs, has adeep meaning that only the author understand. Sorta like poetry. Its his own feelings on life reflected on a song. Hurricane is pressure or war or many other interpretatons so just make your own ans stick w/it if thats what u like. =) |
