| Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip – The Magician's Assistant Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I like how everyone is saying it's an ugly message. About how it's better if someone takes their life because they may be happier this way. You're retarded in my opinion. Suicide is not, I repeat, NOT, a happy prospect. Take it from someone who has actually had suicidal thoughts. Fucking morons. As for the message, it's not saying how "suicide's selfish", at least not to me. It's talking more about how it's not just about you and yourself. That it actually effects everyone around you, and how these people would feel when you take your own life. |

| Emery – As Your Voice Fades Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I know it's been a while since anyone commented on this, but I'd like to throw in something to a lot of people. Emery is NOT a Christian band. They are all Christians, yes, and while some of their songs may be based upon Christianity, it does not mean that it's all of them, it does not mean that it's any of them, nor does it mean that none of them are. Thy have stated that they don't want to be labeled as a Christian band, like has been stated before, and that their music is for us to interpret, more or less. So technically, everyone's right. Even in their newest CD it's been said that while it's possibly their most spiritual CD yet, the lyrics in it are also about their own religion, their doubts, their troubles, and so forth. So before jumping into a giant fucking crusade, just start respecting what everybody thinks. And before all you "satanist/atheistic" pricks start going on about anything more. This is coming from someone who doesn't believe in God, Satan, or even Science. Nihilistic here. Makes me the perfect mediator in my eyes. P.S. If you don't know what Nihilist is, it's the belief in nothing. |

| Gorillaz – Sound Check (Gravity) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
A few things, the actual beginning lyrics are: "Gravity, never let me down, gently. Gravity, never go, no, no. Gravity." Next thing. This song, while it has a meaning, tell you the meaning in the name/lyrics. It's just about Gravity. It's stated by 2D that he and Noodles were "sitting on the roof and he just started singing about gravity and how he loves it." Yes, I understand they're not real people; however, all these songs are "wrote" by them, as in Dan writes them but he writes them according to how he believes the characters of the band would. True story. |
