I agree with this, considering I watched the video as well, and the first time I saw it I didn't notice the bathtub scene (apparently I didn't pay enough attention the first time around haha) and I interpreted in a similar way, but more so that he was with a girl that basically only wanted him because she didn't want to be alone. But now that I saw the bathtub scene I'm guessing that the implied meaning of the song is that she's into girls and, again, is only with him for fear of being alone. After seeing this scene, I watched the video a few more times, looking for anymore innuendos regarding such a subject, and found several little pieces of the video where the chick in it seems to be flirting with other girls. And now that I think about it "I can't say it's what you know, but you've known in the whole time..." seems sort of implicating something about her sexuality, what she wants (girls). It makes more sense in my head, hard to explain, but yeah- think about it. All in all I really like this song, it has a great beat to it and despite the theme really is great to listen to when you're feeling peppy. Two Door Cinema Club is great :] |

The song is asking her if it meant the same to her as it did for him. |

lips of an angel was a song about two people who were together once and they're still in love but they're with new people now- he does not say he's cheating he just says she makes it really hard not to. in other words he loves her but he's with another girl, if he got the chance however, he would be with the other girl. this is more about a drunken one night stand, but the most beautiful one ever written about haha, obviously he's talking about being with a woman who isn't single- he has a "thing" for her, but she has someone else "wondering where she was last night." "i know you'll compare us, how does he match up next to me?" will you choose me over him, or now that you're head's clear was it meaningless? it wasn't for him "i don't think we're through." |

"I can't wait for you to knock me up" 'knocked up' is typically a negative slang, so far saying that he loves what he does, but the business involves a lot of screwing him over, but he accepts it. "I can't wait" saying a sort of "bring it on bitches" "I can't wait for you to shut me up.... I can't wait for you to fuck me up." I know ur gonna try to censor me, but not only am I gonna keep doing what I want, I dare you to challenge me. I'm gonna do what I want because I want to :) good message. |
