And Land of Confusion and Ten Thousand Fists is saying "the world is screwed up, get off your ass and let's fix it, because no one else is ". Divide is about a society that anything different is pretty much, for lack of a better word, banned. |

The song, in fact is not sarcastic at all. In an interview with David Draiman ( the singer and writer), Draiman said the song was about bring different, about being your self, not anyone else. Basically, it's a song that just says "f*** you" possibly punches you in the face, and keeps walking. |

Those two lines about being psychotic and twisted (too lazy to copy and paste lol) pretty much sum up me and my friends. We just don't give a crap about being like everyone else. What's the fun in that? Lol this song makes me think of the eternal battle between the goths and the preps :) the narrator in this song being a goth |
