When she first started to write it, it was about her mother and her and almost took a wedding form. Then the more she wrote it she saw the spritual part of it and wanted to keep it general so that it wasn't directed just at those who were being given away for marriage. | But you too can relate to this because the dual meaning of this is about Him (God) taking care of you. When this album 1st came out she had interviews on youtube about what the song meant to her and she said when she sung it, to her it had two meanings and she chose to think about God :) | |
