For me this feels like protesting power in general especially in the face of danger "we don't bleed when we don't fight; go ahead go ahead throw your shirts in the fire tonight". I probably see it that way because I live in a horrible country (Saudi Arabia) and currently some people including me are speaking up against the country's countless human rights violations, even though this puts us at a serious risk of being imprisoned at the very least, or beheaded like in some cases "I'll go braving anything" "what makes you think I'm enjoying being led to the flood?". But sometimes it feels like there's no hope "there's no saving anything", however that doesn't make us give up "but I won't be no runaway", even those who chose to flee the country are still fighting abroad, protesting, and educating everyone about their rights as humans. I cannot see anything about relationships in this song so I'm surprised that some people think it's about relationships. And in that regard, I would like to add that I HATE that lots of people interpret almost any song by any artists in two ways only: sex, or drugs. I mean c'mon, yeah people get to interpret songs the way they want (duh), but try not to limit yourself to a few things in life. Not every artist is writing about relationships or getting high, there are many other things that happen in life, these two topics are a small part, not everything. |

| For some reason, this reminds me of the military and how they're trying to recruit youngsters from high school and stuff, and then what happens in boot camp and how they break you up and your original personality is almost completely gone. | |

well whether he really said that or not.. that sounds true to me it creeps me out whenever I find a handsome guy. I'm not suggesting that I'm ugly or something.. it's just you don't get to know them well and you feel uncomfortable around them :\ |
