Flyleaf – Chasm Lyrics 15 years ago
There can be lots of meanings in this song like every other songs.

Like every other song on Momento Mori, it's based on Lacey's life, but she sings in some religious ways. But if you buy the CD, and read the booklet, you can find out about some kind of story, on each songs, like if it's a concept album. And in certain of these stories of the song's title, you can find words that are said in the songs, wich can give you a clue on what's really about.

We Are The Fallen – Bury Me Alive Lyrics 15 years ago
I think the lyrics are based on some relationship, where the woman fake suicide, due to probably a bad relationship. But even her husband knew it somehow, his response to it like: Good for you (There's no use in crying All my tears won't drown my pain Free me from your sorrow I can't grieve you again I watched you let yourself die And now it's too late to save you This time). And the woman's plot seems to backfire when she realises that she will end up stuck in a grave buried alive.

Tristania – Deadlocked Lyrics 15 years ago
I just hope that this song might not give these dark ideas of commiting suicide. The ambience and the keyboard sound at the end, seems to somehow give me hope, and like if the message of the lyrics would symbolises the problem, and not give subliminal messages.

Justin Bieber – Baby Lyrics 15 years ago
The song is so blurish, but if I see the clip in muted, all I can really see is Bieber harassing a girl in a Bowling Alley. When she pushes him away, he keeps on trying. And it's totally ironic how after ludacris's verse, she finally falls in love with him.

But warning to you all: This Clip is FAKE!!! It shows you just like in the song, that if you keep on attempting a girl and she rejects you, you should keep trying cuz there is still hope, wich is not the fact in the real life!

The song symbolises the seperation of the band at that time as for the relationship between Corgan and Iha.

I think this song is about to overcome a fear or again a hating subject.

Linkin Park – Easier To Run Lyrics 15 years ago
I have related to this song alot. Like every other LP songs, most of the songs relate an personal episode of mine. And because I feel like a mistake, I though of leaving away from it all.

Theatre of Tragedy – Automatic Lover Lyrics 15 years ago
I think of two things when I read those lyrics:

Either it's about speed dating, where the title can be about a man and a woman who end up in love because of it. Or again "Automatic Lover's store" reference.

Or if I recall the part: "From the window of the red lit shop To the hop-hop of the fluid swap To the bang-bang when the wallet's gone And the run-run when the heat is on". I guess it's about a betrayed relationship, where the girl gets robbed or something like that. It's just like in that movie called BrokeDown Palace.

Theatre of Tragedy – Envision Lyrics 15 years ago
It can be so relatable. It's probably about a lonely man who wants to be normal and tries to make contact with people he knew back then (He calls on a different phone-line No one that he knows An out of focus acquaintance Speaking in a silent parlance "Remember me", breaks the silence A recurring line again). But he doesn't give up since he's concentrating all his energy on emphasizing a normal social life (Tries to get up, be young again).

Sorry it was when John was a kid.

The Who – Cousin Kevin Lyrics 15 years ago
John's inspiration from Cousin Kevin is based on some kid living on his street. Both parents encouraged the boys to be friends but the kid wasn't nice to John.

Theatre of Tragedy – Flickerlight Lyrics 15 years ago
The song is about a relationship of a man and a woman who seems to fall in love with each other while meeting in a nightclub. But they don't know if they are really in love since it can play on their future (But he has no future judging by the sound Of your voice)

Siouxsie and the Banshees – Israel Lyrics 15 years ago
The song is about what Israel is about. It's not a battlefield, it's where Jesus Christ was born, and it was during christmas.

The Cult – Hollow Man Lyrics 15 years ago
Since I heard this song, it's clear that it's about someone trailing a victim, with bad killing intentions. But theirs some little irony in the song ("It's so nice to get away for a day" or "I won't miss him if he goes away and stays away")

The Cult – Big Neon Glitter Lyrics 15 years ago
This is my favorite underated song. Unluckly, I can't really understand it really well.

But my only idea about it, it's probably a reference to the Berlin Wall during the Cold war, and how people are feeling dependent about it, and might also be afraid to act, when they might be killed (As the wall gets taller As you get smaller As we get smaller The fear is getting taller).

As for the part "Drag me back Drag me back Through the revolution without solution", I think it's recalling the beginning of the Cold War and the Berlin wall being created. But if we link this to the song title, I guess it's like a return in the past. But if we look at it more clearly, it can also relate to the theory of surpassing the speed of light and seeing the past, since a Neon is like some kind of light.

Sorry if I kept proceding in this. I guess thats what the lyrics mean in my opinion.

The Cult – She Sells Sanctuary Lyrics 15 years ago
It seems like if the song is about someone who meets a girl and he falls in love with her. Thinking of her makes him happy and alive (The sparkle in your eyes Keeps me alive) and lets not forget that everything else seems so dizzy all around him when only thinking of her and being excited (And the world and the world The world turns around). Those are some things I presume in it.

After Forever – Follow In The Cry Lyrics 15 years ago
"Hang this heretic who's indulged in unchaste thoughts
Silence him such as the laws of the vellums prescribe"

That means that because their are certain peoples in the song who have a different religion, they should be killed, wich is decreted in a religion.
