I love this song..my FAV. from Nicki..my heart broke when i heard this song..i want to save her, ya know? she has to be going through alot of things. from people expecting only greatness out of her, to competeting with someone who influenced her, for trying to make her ''throne'' you know...BUT i feel like this about this song...before this album came out NICKI said we will meet the real NICKI who is ONIKA.well, i think this song is written to ONIKA from NICKI..i think NICKI is saying, look,i lost you ( who i am) i left you behind (the real NICKI) I think Nicki is scared and lost and has no where to turn b/c everyone expects greatness out of her. so she's telling ONIKA, i got us here, we finally made it,i saved us, but once NICKI realized how the game was she realized there is no salvation in that. she's asking for ONIKA to save her this time, she wants to find out who she really is, and what she lost in herself..just an idea.. but i LOVE this song, and NICKI HATERS YOU CAN KILL YOURSELF! NICKI IF YOUR READING THIS, I LOVED YOUR LETTER TO ''BLACK RADIO'' JUST ANOTHER REASON WHY YOU INSPIRE ME! |

i agree.. good post. But, i do want to throw one thing in there. i do not think she ''created'' characters to Succeed . go pick up the new VIBE Dec/Jan magazine, she has three pages for her, and she talks about how when she was younger she made personalities to deal with her parents abuse she saw. it was her excape, yah know? she also said she always made funny faces and no one but her mom thought she was funny. but i do completey agree about losing her self and she can't go back..i LOVE THE SONG...SAVE ME and when i heard the song my heart broke for her. ''put on my thrown, own my own all these witched''..i think this song is written by Onika too Nicki( character)in the first verse. and second verse is Nicki dedicated to Onika..i love this song, it's so me too, for anyone who has to betray a certain way, and sometimes females do that, sadly we do. I LOVE YOU NICKI!!!!! HATERS YOU CAN KILL YOURSELF! |
