I love both versions of this song; Taylor Swift's and Luna Halo's. They're just completely different I can't say which is better. However, it was originally Luna Halo's song and Taylor played it live for a Raw & Real stripped concert. Then she put it on the re-release version of her album Fearless: Platinum Edition. Taylor said she heard the song on a music-playing TV show and loved it and thought she could make her own version out of it. Lol I only know all this because I loved this song wayyyyy before it came out on Fearless Platinum because I heard it a long time ago on YouTube when she played it live as a stripped performance:) |

BEST. JOURNEY. SONG. EVER. This song is sooooo underrated. With Gregg Rolie's keyboard playing and Neal Schon's jazzy rock style guitar with long solos and melodic riffs, and finally the overall space-rock feel of the song, it is truly an unknown masterpiece. It leaves me breathless and I feel as if I live a whole lifetime through it every time I hear it......I think ill go listen to it now....(: |

This song is one of my favorites; it is absolutely beautiful! Steve Augeri's vocals, Jon Cain's piano, and Neal Schon's guitar all blend together perfectly and the result is this flawless song. The lyrics tell a well-developed story about a lover's struggle with their partner who is giving up on their relationship. The whole Arrival album is great, but this song is wayyy underrated and never got the popularity it should've. Neal's guitar is so well accented in the song that it is literally like a sad sounding back-up vocalist, it is really that good! And while the band was great with Steve Perry, Augeri definitely had his place in the band, too. You must hear this song!!!!:) |
