| HammerFall – The Metal Age Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Sounds like it's about a warrior from out past entering our present, or perhaps our future, or, as I like to think, in the Warhammer 40K future. | |
| Blind Guardian – Battlefield Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| As a fan of Warhammer 40K I can see this being used as the theme of the battle between the God-Emperor of Mankind and his son Horus. | |
| Disturbed – Another Way to Die Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| The main meaning of the song is, indeed, that we're destroying the world and that we'll end up destroying ourselves if we don't do something about the pollution we're creating and the pollution that's been with us for ages. However, I can't help but find a deeper meaning here; it's not just about us destroying Earth, it's also about the Earth itself destroying us. It helps to think of Earth as a living being, and one thing that most higher lifeforms have in common is an immune system, who's purpose is to protect the body from illness; we are poisoning our planet, thus we are an illness, and if we don't change the Earth's immune system will wipe us out. | |
| DragonForce – Revolution Deathsquad Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Call me crazy, but it sounds to me like it's from the point of view of a being, from a race that's evil by nature, who's denying it's heritage and fighting for justice. | |
| DragonForce – Through the Fire and Flames Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Sounds like the dragons have returned to our world when we needed them the most...in my opinion, that is. | |
| DragonForce – Cry of the Brave Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It's about someone who, at a young age, saw his town destroyed by an evil empire; as the boy grew, so did the fires of wrath, vengeance, and justice grow in his heart and soul. When the boy became a man, he assembled an army of rebels, avengers, and freedom fighters with the sole purpose of destroying the empire that destroyed the lives of countless innocents souls. | |

But, then again, they could be referring to the legend of King Arthur; the legends do say that, one day, King Arthur would return to our world and rule as king once more. "In the flames of hell we fire at will the fires of doom has come With the forces of the blackest knights they're staring at the sun Far across the distant plains of ice we're searching for the sword When the time has come for the battle now we follow with the horde" Searching for the sword? Perhaps Excalibur, or Caliburn? |

To me, it sounds like the Final Battle, the End Game, Armageddon. "In the flames of hell we fire at will the fires of doom has come With the forces of the blackest knights they're staring at the sun" The flames of Hell refers to the army of the Antichrist, and to the state of our world before the final battle (it is literally Hell on Earth). The blackest knights refers to, again, the army of the Antichrist, with sinners and demons abound within its ranks. "We will ride with fire burning hot towards the night sky In the land of long ago forever in our souls Fly on wings of shining steel are burning so bright In ancient lands of warriors we're riding on again" The Bible says that, at the end of the world, the dead will rise again; perhaps this verse refers to just that? Just as the Antichrist's army is filled with sinners from throughout the ages, so is God's army filled with righteous warriors who wish to fight, one last time, in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost! |

| DragonForce – Above the Winter Moonlight Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Sounds like a WWII-era aerial and ship battle in the Pacific Theater, although it makes it sound like, instead of being their allies, the Japanese were fighting against the Nazi; I can actually see the epic battle between Germany's most feared ship, the Bismark, and Japan's most powerful ship (and, indeed, the most powerful in known history), the Yamato. | |
| DragonForce – Heart of a Dragon Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think it's talking about the one thing that unites soldiers of every time and place, the warrior's soul. | |
| DragonForce – Valley of the Damned Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think it's about a band of warriors making what may be their final, greatest stand against an army of pure darkness. | |
