In my opinion what I got from this song was a metaphor for how humans constantly are trying to control over resources that can't be controlled over. If we don't stop the fighting eventually we will all be killed off, leaving just the plant and animal life to flourish like it would natrually. |

I have to say the whole Eleven Eleven album is fucking amazing but I have no fucking idea what any song is supposed to mean lyrically. I think they would win an award for most confusing lyrics. The only reason I say that is because if you look at the lyrics for this song as well as the album version of Croatia they are vary messed up like they were forced to be censored. |

I wish they had the actual album version on here because its vary obvious that the lyrics are completely different than this one. They obviously had to tone them down on the album version. I know that the whole first stanza isn't in the song and after "Tie Her Down!" I think its "watch her crawl." After the second chorus it becomes:
I just can't forgive what you said,
We wasted all our time on our selves!
It changed the whole meaning of the song in my opinion. |

I feel like there is an arguement going on between an atheist and a christian (who are good friends) about the true existence of god. the vocalist stance is that there is death all around us and there is no way for a immortal living being to survive in this world. the other part is that he can't grasp what he can't see that fills others with so much passion. how ever they remain to be friends due to the fact they can accept each others beliefs and still are able to bridge that gap. |
