| This is not a Led-Zeppelin cover... Led-Zeppelin has a song called "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" which has lyrics, and is on Led-Zeppelin III... and they have another song called "Bron-Yr-Aur" which is an instrumental, and is on Physical Graffiti... Coheed made there "Bron-Yr-Aur" as a tribute to Led-Zeppelin... And if you listen to both Zeppelin versions, then listen to the Coheed version, you'll find that not only are none of these songs the same, but that Coheed's sounds like a combination of both Zeppelin songs... | |

Basicly some girl and a guy were best friends, started dating, it didnt work out so they broke up. Now the guy still wants them to have their friendship, but she ignores all of his attempts to be friends again. At a distance he watches her and her new boyfriend get closer. -Unsealed on a porch a letter sat. Then you said, "I wanna leave it again." Like he left her a letter of all the unsaid things he needed to say and she dosent even want to open it so she just wants to leave it. -Once I saw her on a beach of weathered sand. And on the sand I wanna leave it again. Yeah. Thats him thinking back on a memory of when they were still together and happy, and it hurts him to think about it so he just wants to leave it and forget it. -Ah yeah, can you see them out on the porch? Yeah, but they don't wave. But I see them round the front way. Yeah. And I know, and I know. I don't want to stay. Make me cry... Thats him watching her from a distance and seeing her and her new boyfriend get closer and he donsent want to be there to see it, and it makes him sad -I see... Ooh I don't know why there's something else. I wanna drum it all away... Oh, I said, "I don't, I don't know wheather I was the boxer or the bag." Thats him not wanting to picture her and her new boyfriend together, yet he wonders if he was her "knight in shining armor" (Boxer), or just the fallback guy (the bag) Thats my interpretation of these lyrics. |
