This part to me signifies that the speaker has a past their trying to escape from or there is a inner demon they have to contend with . . . something that is so twisted it makes them hate and love it all while hating themselves entirely. You know i'm trying to believe that you're never gonna leave It's something i don't wanna face, i don't wanna face This part signifies that there is a person the speaker is in love with and is afraid that they will lose said person because of their demon, and that in losing this person they would also lose touch with themselves, hence the lines; " It's something I don't wanna face, I don't wanna face." There's nothing left! The fear is gone Even when my heartstrings come undone I will wait for you, pray for you Before i make my final run I will stay with you, decay with you This means that no matter what the speaker is put through by the person their with, no matter what happens they will stay dedicated to that person until the death, and even beyond that. I know i'm not the perfect one, the pain has just begun It's something i already chased, i already chased You bring me to a better path, it's everything i asked It's something i don't wanna face, i don't wanna face Speaker knows that they are not perfect, that they are twisted and darkened inside, that the pain they are still caused as a result of their relationship is just beginning because they've been down this road before, but this time the path they are on because of their girlfriend/boyfriend is a better one than past relationships. There's nothing left! The fear is gone There's nothing left! The fear is gone The speaker feels that there isn't a whole lot left for them besides their love for their significant other because they fear nothing (except for maybe losing the other person, but the fear of that could also be gone as well or else they are not afraid because of the person they are involved with). Hmmm. . .the Werewolf explenation is good . . . but I just have to say that it makes me think of Vampires (not Twilight vamps, btw. No offense to Twilight fans). I can personally relate to this song.
