"ugh why cant people just b satisfied wit the government " Because they lie to us while simultaneously using propaganda and cultural manipulation to blind us to the facts of the situation. These facts are: -Our government is illegally invading other nations in ignorance of the UN and international law, intentionally and systematically abusing the human rights of the civilians of these nations while robbing them of their culture, their natural resources, their future, their humanity, their lives. -Removing the rights of their own citizens (Patriot Act anybody). -Labelling anybody who tries to expose these lies and show the truth as a "Terrorist" and in the case of Julian Assange, witch-hunting. That is why WE MUST UNITE to tear these bastards down and forever hold every human accountable for their actions, if George W. Bush wants to order the torture of Iraqis, he should be tried as a war criminal. |

"Each nation used to provide its country with security with factories providing arms for their country Now multinational companies compete in the arms trade to serve any customer, maximising the money to be made" ES lamenting the course of development each nation has taken, namely that nations used to make enough arms to provide its citizens with security and defense, but now with the corporatisation of arms production, capitalism has drastically shifted the nature of the world, with the richest now able to buy great power... "National warehouses compete to provide arms around the world to aid death and all hell unfolds." ...and when the powerful aquire the means to become more powerful, it doesn't take long for the world to be ravaged by war. "Our gracious queen should grasp her crown and take a good fucking swing at Blair and Brown for leading her countries to illegal warfare and trying to pass it off that we're doing 'cause we care. Now pre-emptive of wars are a redemptive cause I've never heard such nonsense under international laws We think we have the right to enforce democracy when we're weakening ours everyday What hypocrisy." Obviously criticising British Foreign Policy, namely the invasion and occupation of foreign nations under the guise of "stabilisation" or "democracy", the Iraq war being the most recent of a long list of examples. Also criticises Domestic policy where democracy has become a sick joke in the U.K, the U.S.A and Australia, and how our own governments have been slowly stripping their citizens of their rights while actively ignoring popular demand and passing unpopular legislation without any consent from the people. The Patriot Act, the U.S.A's treatment of Julian Assange and the recent T.S.A airport security policy that involves Full Body Scans and enhanced patdowns (hand can actually go inside the underpants) are all good examples of this. I can't take photos around certain areas of my home city anymore without being asked to delete the photos and move on. This is all under the guise of "National Security" that the 9/11 attacks made the perfect vehicle for the systematic removal of our rights. "Fuck man I just woke up to a land where killing is part of every day and every mind in this intelligent species is then blinded into the battlefield" Taking about how he "woke up" (an expression used to describe the moment when awareness of world events and particularly, the problems and flaws within our Government and society) and realised all of the injustice that's happening and has been happening around the world. Particularly the fact that the incredible potential of the human mind and its intelligence is being deliberately misled by Government propaganda and tricked into going into the battlefield to fight an injust war, by persuading the brave and valiant men and women of our Nations that such a war is a good thing and that they have moral justification for invading another country and killing hundreds of thousands of civilians to establish a "democracy" (meanwhile foreign military occupation continues while corporations are allowed to buy the natural resources of the country and anybody who tries to combat the invasion of their country is labelled a "terrorist"). The whole WMD excuse for the invasion of Iraq is the perfect example of this. "like it's natural for us to break instead of build" This line really expresses the pain felt at seeing the human race use its incredible potential and gift of intelligence to kill each other rather than build a better world. "Unity's(correction made)intrinsic the only cause worth fighting for, all religions, colours and creeds" Describes how it is in our nature to unify and exist peacefully with one another, and that the establishment and preservation of this peaceful unity across the world is the only thing that justifies war. The rest of the song is a protest cry/chant. Incredible end to a fucking incredible album. |

"Now let's cause some fucking havok!" Gets me riled up for a protest, it's got a really "direct action" feeling to it, really revolutionary. "The Lions are at the door, We ain't taking orders from snakes no more" Saying that the people have awoken, and will no stand for being controlled by the reptilian figures that run the world and are attempting to gain a New World Order. This line also makes me think of David Icke and some of his works. The rest of the song is pretty self explanatory, again, it sounds really revolutionary. |
