I totally agree with CloudedMind. In my case, I was abandoned by my friend because of something I told him. I had told him about my crush on another guy. After a while, we stopped walking home together and talking. After I had been rejected by my crush, I wished so much that he was by my side to comfort me because none of my girl friends could. Literally, my bag had felt heavier because I could have prevented all of this if I had kept my mouth shut. We had nothing to say to each other because we both had thoughts of what was right. Truly, I would do anything to go back to the hour where I told my friend that damned secret. |

I only listened to this song because I saw the Fray's name in it. I'm loving Isaac's and Joe's voice in this song.
I'm guessing that this song is about the rough times in a relationship. You think everything smooth sailing (intended) but then hard times are bound to come and test the strength of the relationship. |

The way I see it, the song refers more to friendship and innocence. I may have been influenced by the Winnie the Pooh trailer but I still think so. I bring p innocence because of he lyrics, "oh simple thing". Thing were only so simple when we were children and naive. It may have been about two childhood friends but over time, the relationship took a more romantic turn. I really like this song. My all-time play-list is composed mostly of Keane songs. |
